The Gift Economy makes the Core, Market, and Planetary Economies possible.
Although we’ve been well trained to honor the Market Economy, we would be wise to honor the Planetary Economy.
The Core Economy is what Professor Edgar Kahn calls that 40-50% of productive economic activity that takes place outside of the market and is not measured by traditional indicators. In other words, its more important than we realize.
