When I was in my early forties, I heard it said that 40 was the new 20. Now that I am approaching fifty, I’ve recently heard it said that 50 is the new 20. Either way, the numbers are inconsequential.
Whether I’m 40, 50, 20, or 70, I still have another day to create a beautiful life. Yet with the knowledge and wisdom I’ve accrued over the last nearly 5 decades, I am in a much better position to recognize the beauty that life has to offer. Also, now that I better understand the way life works, I have become a much better dance partner.
Whatever your age, as long as you are breathing, life is still providing new opportunities for you. Never think that possibilities die with youth. They only become more refined.
