In 2024, Steve McAllister (also known as Steve McAlphabet) will be embarking on his fourth multi-state motorcycle tour to reach his goal of riding to all 48 contiguous states in four years. Riding from Sarasota, Florida to Seattle, Washington and back from June through September, the trip is expected to be over 8000 miles.
Travelling with little more than a guitar and a manual typewriter, Steve is looking for opportunities to share his unique artistic services along the way.
* at farmers markets, festivals, and other events, Steve offers custom pay-what-you-want poetry written on a 1959 manual typewriter.
* with over 60 original songs written and over 100 unique renditions of beloved classics, Steve offers musical performances on his guitar or any available piano.
* winner of the Humorist award at the 2018 Sarasolo Festival, on stages ranging from historical theatres to living rooms, Steve offers performances of his hour-long show Get The Bunk Out, based on the political humor of Will Rogers, the 1928 presidential candidate for the Anti-Bunk Party, as well as screenings of his hour-long documentary, The Road To Will, about the 10,500 mile motorcycle tour to rediscover the legacy of Will Rogers and hope for the future of America.
