Although those in political power proclaim that violent war among neighboring countries is a means to achieve peace, the rationale does not hold water on a practical scale. On the personal level, when we can look each other in the eye and realize our connected humanity, peace is achieved by simply loving your neighbor and agreeing to be at peace. There is no magic formula. There is no political or military strategy. Love and peace are simply the fruits of eternity that we pluck and enjoy at our own leisure. May we find the courage to practice love and choose peace.
