“Beauty without grace is the hook without the bait.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
We’re all familiar with the old saying that beauty is only skin deep. Once we get beyond that layer, it is grace that truly makes a person beautiful. Not the grace of a tea-sipping ballerina, but the grace that personifies true inner beauty.
The person of grace has compassion for the less fortunate and enthusiasm for the more fortunate. The person of grace has found the balance between then and now to alight softly and tenderly upon the present moment. The person of grace has empathy for all living things, having realized the unity of all.
Modern society is obsessed with outer beauty. What we need are more people of grace.
