The Wandering Soul Band

The easiest way to describe this band is pure Americana

but the influences through various genres is a musical panorama.

From classics everybody loves to showtunes they adore,

we’ve also got originals that will leave you wanting more.

So if you’re looking for music to make you feel alive, you’ve got to understand

you need not look any further than Steve McAlphabet and the Wandering Soul Band

PRIMARY PLAYERS

Martha Robinson

As the heart of White Diamond Creative, our ingenue stands six feet tall

and when you hear her voice, you just can’t help but fall

in love with the artist she is, beyond just when she sings

through her paintings, poetry, and events, a lot to the table she brings

with a background in biology, she’s a healer and intuitive guide

Wandering Soul wouldn’t be the same without Martha by our side

Paul Louis

Orphaned at a young age and raised by wild raccoons

we’re glad Paul picked the bass up instead of a bassoon

whether he’s plucking at his stand up or slapping on five strings

we’re so glad he’s versatile, the guy, he even sings

he’s known as Kayak Paul when he’s giving tours of the islands

and the groove he brings to Wandering Soul has everybody smilin’

Ray Istorico

Born in the Empire State, our drummer’s background is fusion jazz

but taking brushes to his wood hoop drums is not the only skill he has

he’s written a baseball history book, though I have yet to read it

and his knowledge of songs I’ve never heard is freakin’ encyclopedic

he’s often quite soft spoken, though he’s got a lot to say

when you hear the chimes and cymbals, that’s our good friend Ray

Steve McAllister

The frontman for the band usually has the loudest voice

and though he’s sometimes raspy, he’s not just making noise

writing the world to be through poetry and song

shining a light on what’s going right and what we have done wrong

though he wants you on the dance floor, do not be deceived

to put a new song in your heart is the biggest goal for Steve
